Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, accompanied by Education Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze, inspected the fully rehabilitated Zestaphoni Public School No. 4.
The school is designed for over 1,000 students. The Head of the Government congratulated the school’s director, teachers, and students on the project’s successful implementation and noted that the school rehabilitation program will continue.
“School rehabilitation also contributes to improving education. We have a specific program that includes additional rehabilitation of hundreds of schools – either fully or partially – and construction of new schools. This is one of the most important priorities for the Georgian government, and work in this direction will continue,” Kobakhidze stated.
According to the government press service, the school features natural science and computer laboratories, sports and active halls, a library, doctor’s office, resource room, and sports ground. The building meets international standards and is adapted for people with disabilities.
The rehabilitation, supported by the Georgian government, was implemented by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency. The project cost GEL 6,227,659.
