Persons with diabetes/hepatitis C/HIV/AIDS/cystic fibrosis, kidney dialysis patients, and organ transplant recipients will receive state-funded free flu shots.
Priority groups include beneficiaries/staff of care homes, pregnant women, people aged 60 and above, teachers, NCDC staff.
Flu shots will be mandatory for medical/school/prison/poultry staff, farmworkers, hunters and military personnel.
The flu and Covid-19 jabs should be administered at one time or within an advised interval between vaccines of 14 days.
Currently, Georgia secured 43,000 doses of flu jabs, with 150,000 more to enter the country shortly.
