Gov't eager to implement EU's recommendations promptly, PM says

The government of Georgia, according to PM Irakli Garibashvili, is taking all necessary steps to quickly implement the EU’s proposals.

The Prime Minister encouraged the opposition to take part in the working groups charged with putting the proposals into practice.

“Georgia will follow through on all 12 recommendations. Our government is working hard and is eager to put all 12 recommendations into action as quickly as possible. I would like to ask the opposition once more to join the parliamentary working groups. I’ll be in Prague for the European Union leaders’ meeting tomorrow. I’ll be there with the same message: we are fully engaged in this process, and all doors are open to opposition parties,” the Prime Minister told reporters after meeting with the Georgian Business Association.
