Gov't approve 2023 action plan for Vision 2030 – Development Strategy
Cabinet of Ministers approved the 2023 Action Plan under the Vision 2030 – Development Strategy of Georgia at today’s meeting.
The document covers concrete activities to be carried out by the Government during the current year to achieve the goals set along four priority areas. These areas are defense/security, economic development, social policy/human capital development, and governance.
Vision 2030 – Development Strategy of Georgia is a policy document at the national level. It covers the key elements of the country’s development vision for 2030 and includes all the priority areas of development.
The Government also adopted a Strategy for Public Administration Reform (PAR) for 2023-2026, along with an Action Plan for 2023-2024.
PAR was launched in 2015 within the scope of an EU-Georgia Association Agreement and covers the following significant directions: policy planning and coordination, civil service, accountability, public funds management (PFM), and delivery of public services.
The Cabinet addressed 11 issues on the agenda today.
