Gov't allocates ₾20 mln to compensate population affected by natural disaster

In line with the Georgian Government’s ordinance, ₾ 19,695,000 will be allocated to municipalities for measures to eliminate the consequences of the recent natural disaster, the government’s press office said on Monday.

In a bid to compensate the population affected by the natural disaster of January 2023 for fully or partially damaged private houses, the municipalities will receive ₾ 1,470,000 from the Reserve Fund, the government added.
