Gov’t Administration Head: PM discussed regional situation and developments in neighborhood with UN Secretary-General

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze discussed the situation in the region during a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration, told journalists.

According to Zhorzholiani, the Prime Minister also briefed the UN Secretary-General on the situation in Georgia.

“Over the past five years, we have recorded the highest economic growth not only in the region but in Europe as well, at 9.3%, while this year we are recording 7.9%. We discussed how important it is for this economic growth and the wealth generated in the country to be distributed among Georgian citizens, so that every citizen can feel its benefits.

“The Prime Minister also touched upon the situation in the region and the neighborhood,” Zhorzholiani said.
