Government Administration Head meets Deputy Chairmen of Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of Government Administration of Georgia, met the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, who are visiting Georgia as part of the state visit of Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan, the Government Administration reported.

The meeting focused on opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including political and economic relations.

The parties discussed the prospects for the further development of the Middle Corridor, with particular emphasis on Georgia’s strategic role within the corridor. Levan Zhorzholiani briefed the Turkmen delegation on the major investment projects being implemented by the Government of Georgia to advance the development of the Trans-Caspian Corridor.

The meetings were attended by the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan responsible for the economic sector-Guvanch Agajanov, Batyr Anayev and Nokerguly Atagulyev-as well as Nazar Agakhanov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.
