GOC: Mitropolitan Shio to hold sermon on April 25 in connection with 40 days from late Patriarch Ilia II's passing away

April 25 marks 40 days from the passing away of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.

In connection with this date, Mitropolitan Shio (Mujiri), the locum tenens of the patriarchal throne, alongside the clergy, will deliver a sermon at the Sioni Patriarchal Cathedral to commemorate the late Patriarch.

According to the Public Relations Service of the Georgian Orthodox Church (GOC), the sermon will commence at 10 a.m.
