Givi Mikanadze re-elected chair of PACE Sub-Committee on ECHR judgement implementation

At the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Givi Mikanadze, the chairperson of the Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs of the Parliament of Georgia, was re-elected as the chair of the Sub-Committee on the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.

This marks his second term in this position. The sub-committee unanimously supported Mikanadze’s candidacy and commended his leadership and the activities of the sub-committee in 2023, as reported by the press service of the Parliament of Georgia.
