Girchi says GD wants to stay in power till 2030

“When the Georgian Dream says that they will open the door of the European Union by 2030, it means that they want to stay in power till 2030,” said Iago Khvichia, leader of the parliamentary opposition Girchi party.

According to Iago Kvichia, there will be no interest in Georgia unless Georgia proves that it serves Georgia’s interests.

“I believe that the Georgian Dream goes on that intentionally. When they say that they would open the European Union door with dignity in 2023, it implies they want to stay in power till 2030 instead of opening the civilization door with the policy they adhere to. There will be no interest in Georgia unless Georgia proves that it serves Georgia’s interests,” he said.
