Giorgi Vashadze says Victory Platform’s strategy is winning

“We established a platform of victory, therefore, the main strategy for us is to win. I understand that some people want to make us focus on the topic of positions, we are interested in people, talking with them, discussing and consolidating the entire nation, the Georgian national energy, in order for Georgia to be strong, the leader in the region, a member of the European Union,” said Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli party.

According to Giorgi Vashadze, he plans to communicate with jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili, since the United National Movement (UNM) is “Misha’s party” while Mikheil Saakashvili is “a symbol of the fight of Western civilization against the Russian terrorist regime.”

Asked about cooperation with UNM former chair Nika Melia, Vashadze said: “I think Nika Melia can really contribute to the liberation of Georgia from the Russian occupation regime, the rest depends on him, what steps he will take.”

Responding to the opponents’ belief that the union with the National ¬Movement is a red line for the opposition, Vashadze stated that “everyone will be together in the great common victory”.
