Giorgi Vashadze - The parliamentarians should better avoid coming to Parliament
Giorgi Vashadze, an opposition New Georgia leader, calls on MPs to refrain from coming to the Parliament
As Giorgi Vashadze said, the protest continues, all entrances to the parliament are blocked.
‘I urge the members of the Parliament of Georgia to refrain from coming to the Parliament in order to avoid excesses. As for cleaners, police, staff members, they will not have any problem. The MPs irritate the society that’s why it is better for them not to come here.’
Giorgi Vashadze added that protesters are acting peacefully and he hopes the police will not use force.
‘We act peacefully, without the excesses. I hope there is a rational thought in the government and they will not clash the police with people.
The bulk of decent people work in the police and I address them as well – it is not their obligation to execute illegal orders.’
