Giorgi Kvirikashvili – Armenians are actively involved in country’s building
Georgia and Armenia are linked with century-long friendship and neighborly traditions — Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated during a press conference held together with Nikol Pashinyan, Armenian Prime Minister, who arrived in Tbilisi with 2-day official visit.
Kvirikashvili underlined that stability and democratic development of Armenia was important for Georgia and that Georgians were closely observing the latest developments in Yerevan.
PM also reiterated readiness of the Georgian government to have prolific cooperation with Armenia in the future. He said that during the meeting perspectives for enhancement of cooperation in transport, energy, tourism, culture, education and innovations had been considered.
Kvirikashvili said that Armenian PM was planned to hold meetings with ethnic Armenians in South Georgia.
“Armenians are actively involved in country’s building that confirms unity of multinational Georgia. Our population, despite national background, serves one common goal and objective – make Georgia stronger and develop regional and neighborly relations,” Kvirikashvili stated.
