Giorgi Kinkladze wins three gold Medals at U17 European Weightlifting Championships

Georgian weightlifters Giorgi Kinkladze and Shota Kakabadze, both competing in the 65kg category, claimed gold and silver medals respectively at the ongoing U17 European Weightlifting Championships in Pristina.

Kinkladze lifted 118kg in the snatch and 148kg in the clean and jerk. His combined total of 266kg earned him three gold medals and the European champion’s title.

Kakabadze finished just one kilogram behind Kinkladze in the snatch, lifting 117kg. He then successfully lifted 143kg in the clean and jerk. With a total of 260kg, Kakabadze won three silver medals and finished as the European runner-up.
