Giorgi Jincharadze elected as Abkhazia Autonomous Republic Government Chair
Giorgi Jincharadze has been elected Chair of the Abkhazia Autonomous Republic government by the Supreme Council during today’s session.
Upon his election, the new Chair presented a comprehensive action plan to the members of the Supreme Council.
Giorgi Jincharadze previously served as Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs, and has held various positions within the public sector.
As the new Chair of the Abkhazia Autonomous Republic government, Jincharadze succeeds Levan Mgaloblishvili, who stepped down from the position on June 2, 2025.
