Giorgi Gvimradze, the News and Current Affairs Director of the First Channel of Georgian Public Broadcaster, has been elected as a member of the News Committee of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
The decision was made during the EBU News Assembly held at Tbilisi Radisson Blu Iveria on November 22-23.
The EBU News Assembly is a significant annual event organized by the European Broadcasting Union. The 18th EBU News Assembly, hosted by the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), includes the participation of heads of Europe’s leading public broadcasters, along with the Director General of the EBU, Noel Curran.
Over 100 delegates from 47 EBU member countries attended the event.
