Giorgi Gakharia: Constitutional Court, like all other courts and institutions, is under GD control
Giorgi Gakharia, Chairman of For Georgia, criticized the Constitutional Court, claiming it operates under the influence of the ruling party Geogian Dream.
“The Constitutional Court, like all other courts and institutions, is under their control. They make them do whatever they want,” Gakharia stated.
He was responding to the court’s decision to reject lawsuits filed by President Salome Zourbichvili and 30 opposition representatives challenging the constitutionality of the elections.
“There are no institutions left in the country, no state, and no functioning government. If this continues—if they dismantle the police as they are doing now—chaos will ensue. Ivanishvili will bear personal responsibility for this chaos,” Gakharia warned.
