Giorgi Bakhuashvili appointed as Georgia’s new Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs
The Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, has a new deputy.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Police Colonel Giorgi Bakhuashvili has been appointed to the role.
“Until now, Giorgi Bakhuashvili held the position of Director of the General Inspectorate Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He has many years of experience working within the ministry,” the statement from the agency noted.
