GeoStat: Georgia’s economy grows by 7.5% in April
The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 7.5% for April 2023 compared to the previous year and the average real GDP growth for January-April 2023 equaled 7.3%, the Georgian National Statistics Service (GeoStat) reported.
In April 2023 the estimated real growth compared to the same period of the previous year was observed in the following activities: Construction, Financial and insurance activities, Transportation and storage, Information and communication, and Trade.
Declines were registered in Manufacturing and Real estate activities.
