GeoStat: Georgian airports served 2.8 million passengers in third quarter of 2025

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat), in the third quarter of 2025, passenger traffic at Georgian airports increased by 15.0% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 2.8 million passengers in total. Of these, 1.4 million passengers arrived in Georgia (up 15.4%) and 1.4 million departed (up 14.7%).

During the same period, the number of passenger flights increased by 15.4%, reaching 10.8 thousand.

In the third quarter of 2025, Georgian airports handled 0.9 thousand freight flights, an 82.7% increase year-on-year. Georgian airline companies transported 247.2 thousand passengers and 35.0 thousand tons of freight. Compared to the third quarter of 2024, passenger numbers increased by 21.0%, while freight volumes decreased by 49.8%.
