GeoStat: Domestic Exports in January-July up by 64.1 per cent in Georgia
In January-July 2026, the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 4 670.2 million, 21.6 percent higher year-on-year, the National Statistics Service of Georgia (GeoStat) reported.
According to GeoStat, the share of domestic exports in total exports constituted 61.1 per cent and amounted to USD 2 854.3 million, 64.1 percent higher year-on-year.
In January-July 2026, the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 66.2 percent. The top partners were China (USD 480.2 million), Russia (USD 409.7 million) and Türkiye (USD 279.4 million).
In January-July 2026, petroleum and petroleum oils claimed the first place in the list of top domestic export items, equaling USD 543.2 million, or 19.0 percent of total domestic exports. The domestic exports of precious metal ores and concentrates totalled USD 356.3 million, and their share in the total domestic exports amounted to 12.5 per cent. The domestic exports of ferroalloys occupied the third place, standing at USD 187.1 million and constituting 6.6 per cent of the total domestic exports.
