Georgia's presence at MSC paramount for Ukrainians, int'l community, FM Zalkaliani says

Although Ukraine was the main topic, Georgia’s presence and its voice at Munich Security Conference (MSC) were “paramount” both for our Ukrainian counterparts and the international community, Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani told reporters in Munich.

FM Zalkaliani said, “we have experienced occupation which is still ongoing, and it was important for our international partners to share this experience, talk, and find ways to ease the situation from our perspective.”

The Minister believes “the country’s development, increasing its attractiveness are important levers to minimize external threats.”
