Georgia’s PM to attend inaugural Paris International Space Summit at invitation of French President

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the inaugural International Space Summit in Paris, following an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron.

According to the Government Administration, the summit, co-chaired by France and Germany, will primarily focus on scientific research, technology, international security, and defence.

The Georgian Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend an official state reception hosted by President Macron in honour of the participating heads of state and government.

Kobakhidze departed for France leading a high-level government delegation, which includes Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Defence Irakli Chikovani, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
