“I want to thank Tajikistan for its strong support and defence of Georgia’s national interests. Thank you for respecting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is of particular importance to Georgia,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at his meeting with Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda.

Irakli Kobakhidze thanked his Tajik counterpart for hosting the Georgian delegation at the highest level.

“This is a historic moment. This marks the first official visit at the highest level from Georgia to Tajikistan. Our nations, our countries, are closely bound together by historical tradition and friendship, and it is our responsibility to do everything we can to strengthen our partnership and cooperation. We reaffirm our commitment to this goal. I want to thank Tajikistan for its strong support and defence of Georgia’s national interests. Thank you for respecting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is of particular importance to Georgia,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
