Georgia’s PM meets with Chairman of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis
Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, held a meeting with Erlan Qoşanov, the Chairman of the Mazhilis, the lower house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
According to the Government Administration, the discussion centred on the warm and evolving relations between Georgia and Kazakhstan, highlighting the strong partnership across various sectors. The two sides acknowledged the fruitful cooperation between their legislative bodies and explored opportunities for further collaboration.
Special attention was given to the growing momentum of trade and economic relations, as well as collaborative efforts in transport and logistics, with particular emphasis on the strategic significance of the Middle Corridor.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to peace and stability, expressing gratitude to Kazakhstan for its ongoing support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
