Georgia's PM Kobakhidze: Georgia will spare no effort in promoting peace and stability in region

“We wish to reaffirm our readiness to promote peace and stability in the region, and in this regard, Georgia will spare no effort,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared at a joint press briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Kobakhidze expressed his personal gratitude to Pashinyan for his contribution to deepening cooperation and friendship between Georgia and Armenia.

“We are gratified by the very positive momentum in the development of regional cooperation. We are pleased to underscore, as highlighted today at the Intergovernmental Commission, that the historic peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been successfully signed. These positive developments provide an excellent foundation for all of us to work together towards achieving stability in our region and ensuring lasting peace.

In this context, we once again wish to reaffirm our readiness to promote peace and stability in the region. Georgia will spare no effort in this regard. I wish to emphasise once more the exceptional nature of the partnership between our two countries. This partnership, this friendship, this cooperation is truly exemplary, and it is our responsibility to our countries and to our peoples to do everything in our power to deepen it still further. In closing, I wish to extend my personal gratitude to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for his outstanding personal contribution to strengthening cooperation and friendship between our two nations,” the Prime Minister said.
