Georgia's Permanent Representative presents Letters of Credence to CoE Secretary-General
Georgia’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador Khatia Tsilosani, presented Letters of Credence to the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting, Khatia Tsilosani thanked the CoE Secretary-General for unwavering support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty that is reflected in the consolidated reports and Ministerial Committee decisions on Conflicts in Georgia.
“Georgia, as a true member of the European family, is committed to continuing constructive dialogue with the CoE to foster enhancement of human rights, democracy and Supremacy of Law by guarding the country’s best interests,” Khatia Tsilosani said.
The CoE Secretary-General reiterated his personal and the CoE’s readiness to deepen and intensify the successful cooperation with Georgia. The sides reviewed ongoing processes in Georgia and future cooperation prospects.
