Georgia’s independence to be fundamental objective of Georgia-EU partnership

EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell echoed the 100th anniversary of Soviet occupation and vowed that “the EU stands together with Georgia in commemorating the tragic fall of the independent Democratic Republic to the Soviet Army 100 years ago.”

“This day will never be forgotten. To cherish and strengthen Georgia’s independence remain fundamental objectives of our strong partnership,” Hartzell tweeted.
