Georgia’s First Lady, Tamar Bagrationi, is visiting Washington at the invitation of the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump.

According to the Presidential Administration, Tamar Bagrationi will attend a global summit organized at Melania Trump’s initiative, entitled Fostering the Future Together, which aims to promote the safe and innovative use of advanced technologies in support of children’s education, development, and well-being.

Before the opening, Tamar Bagrationi held brief meetings with the first ladies of different countries. The Georgian First Lady and the delegation visited the exhibition of innovations and technologies at the U.S. Department of State.

The Georgian delegation comprises Baia Kvitsiani, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and Mariam Lashkhi, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs.
