Georgia’s First Lady Tamar Bagrationi participated in the sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in Kyiv, the Administration of the President of Georgia said.

According to the presidential administration, the SFLG Global Platform is an international initiative launched in 2021 that brings together spouses of heads of state from around the world. The platform holds high-level meetings in Kyiv every year to promote dialogue on issues of global importance and works on topics requiring high-level cooperation.

Bagrationi said Georgia’s historical experience demonstrates that preserving national values is a foundation of state resilience.

“Our national identity is based on seven eternal pillars: God, homeland, person, language, land, faith and family. These principles, shaped through centuries of struggle, are deeply rooted in our genetic code,” Bagrationi said.

The First Lady described family unity as one of the most important guarantees of Georgia’s historical continuity, noting that love for one’s homeland and God begins within the family.

Bagrationi also congratulated Ukraine and the Ukrainian people on the 35th anniversary of independence, wishing them peace, prosperity and progress.

According to the Administration of the President of Georgia, the First Lady once again reaffirmed Georgia’s support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
