Georgia's epidemiological situation calm, no ground for restrictions, Heath Minister says

Georgian Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili Monday called the country’s epidemiological situation “calm, giving no ground for panic.”

No Covid-restrictions are expected as the epidemiological situation is “completely manageable,” no sharp surge of positive cases was recorded, the Minister went on.

Asked about the face mask rule reintroduction, Azarashvili said the current situation does not give a ground to do so either today or shortly.
