Georgia's Economy Minister attends International Istanbul Natural Resources Summit
Mariam Kvrivishvili, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, is currently in Turkey, where she participated in the International Istanbul Natural Resources Summit (INRES).
During the summit, Mariam Kvrivishvili delivered a speech at the Energy Ministerial Session titled ‘Energy Security in a Changing Global Landscape: Connectivity and Cooperation’.
The Natural Resources Summit, inaugurated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was attended by high-ranking representatives from various countries, as well as leading energy and mining companies, international organisations, and financial institutions.
As part of her visit, Mariam Kvrivishvili held a high-level bilateral meeting with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar. Additionally, a quadrilateral meeting was held with the energy ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Bulgaria, during which the participants discussed regional projects and explored opportunities for future cooperation.
Deputy Minister Tamar Ioseliani is accompanying Mariam Kvrivishvili on the visit.
