Georgia's Ambassador to Turkey: Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan FMs to sign joint declaration
“The forthcoming meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Turkey and Azerbaijan in Istanbul will address matters of strengthening cooperation in the areas of regional and global connectivity, trade and economic relations, as well as energy security,” stated Georgia’s Ambassador to Turkey, Archil Kalandia.
He further noted that the parties will sign a joint declaration in Istanbul.
“Today in Istanbul, a trilateral meeting will be held between the Foreign Ministers of Georgia, the Republic of Turkey and Azerbaijan. This is an important platform for deepening cooperation with our neighbouring and strategic partner states across both bilateral and multilateral dimensions.
During the meeting, discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in the fields of regional and global connectivity, trade and economic relations, energy security, and other pressing matters. Following the meeting, the ministers will hold a joint press conference and sign a joint declaration.
In addition, Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with her Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts. Global and regional connectivity, energy security, trade and economic cooperation, and the further consolidation of peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, all of these issues will be on the table during the meeting,” said Archil Kalandia.
