Georgia's Ambassador in NATO hopes NATO PA resolution to reflect Georgia's values, North-Atlantic aspirations

“In the turbulent environment and conditions when Russia intensifies pressure on Georgia’s occupied territories, it is significant for Georgia to win the support of NATO colleagues and friends,” Victor Dolidze, Georgia’s Ambassador in NATO, told the GPB’s First Channel.

Dolidze expressed hope that Georgia’s values, territorial integrity sovereignty and North-Atlantic aspirations would be reflected in the resolution of the annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA).

Georgian parliamentary delegation, headed by the Defense and Security Committee Chair Irakli Beraia, participates in the annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 7-9.

Global security issues in the Euro-Atlantic space, the Russia-Ukraine war and its consequences, open-door policy, defence and deterrence policies, military technologies, naval infrastructure, national and collective resilience strengthening and other issues are on the agenda for discussions.
