Wounded military servicemen participated in Tbilisi Marathon

The 2019 Tbilisi Marathon has been held today at Tbilisi city center. The representatives of various spheres of society participated in the event.
Georgian wounded military servicemen also were involved in the sport event. At the end of the event they received special prizes and awards.
The 8th Tbilisi Marathon, organized by HeidelbergCement, has been held in the central streets of Tbilisi today. About 2500 people took part in the run.
The event was organized under the patronage of the Embassy of Germany in Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia.
The funds raised from the registration will be doubled by HeidelbergCement and transferred for the rehabilitation of Dzegvi Shelter.
