Georgian Wings makes first Tbilisi-Batumi flight

Georgian Wings, the passenger transportation division for airline Geosky, carried out the first demonstration Tbilisi-Batumi flight on Tuesday.

Representatives of the Adjara government and business sector attended the regular flight project presentation.

Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, saluted the strengthening of the Georgian aviation industry.

“The company will facilitate the increase of mobility between the two cities. Of course, it will ease the movement of tourist flows from Tbilisi to Batumi and from Batumi to Tbilisi,” she said.

Georgian Wings will carry twelve Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi regular commercial flights per week from July 28. The flight will take 55 minutes.
