With the support of Georgia’s National Wine Agency, a large-scale presentation of Georgian wine was held in Seoul, South Korea, aimed at diversifying export markets. The event was organized by the agency’s contracted Korean marketing company, Wine21.com.
According to the National Wine Agency, the Seoul event included a professional masterclass and a tasting session attended by around 60 invited guests, including wine industry experts, sommeliers, media representatives, and influencers.
The tasting was led by Korean wine writer Sangmi Kim.
The Republic of Korea, along with China and Japan, is considered one of Georgia’s strategic markets in the Asian region for wine exports. The National Wine Agency continues to support various marketing activities in these countries to strengthen Georgian wine’s international presence.
Wine21.com, the agency’s contracted marketing partner, is the largest online wine portal in South Korea. It was created by industry experts and provides comprehensive information about wines available on the Korean market, while also carrying out public relations and marketing activities to promote wine consumption and awareness.
