Georgian wine import to US falls by 9.4% in 2020

Georgian wine import to the US dwindled by 9.4% in 2020 compared to 2019, the American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) reported on Thursday.

Amid import cutback, Georgia continues to progress and increases import.

According to the National Wine Agency of Georgia, up to 912 000 bottles of wine were exported from Georgia to the US in 2020 which is 34% more than in 2019.

The United States ranks 8th among Georgian wine exporters.
