Georgian Speaker meets Djibouti colleague

The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the President of the National Assembly of Djibouti, Dileita Mohamed Dileita.

Shalva Papuashvili thanked his counterpart from Djibouti for supporting the non-recognition policy of the occupied regions of Georgia and the Resolution of Georgia on “Status of the Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and Tskhinvali Region/South Ossetia, Georgia” at the UN General Assembly.

According to the parliament’s press office, the parties deliberated on possible prospects of cooperation and expressed their commitment to enhancing parliamentary ties. In this view, Speaker Papuashvili invited Dileita Mohamed Dileita to Georgia.

The meeting was held within the framework of the 147th IPU Assembly in Angola.
