Georgian ski season closes

Georgian Mountain Resorts Development Company of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development has completed the 2021 ski season. The season at the ski resorts opened on March 8 under all the Covid-19 restrictions. It lasted until April 25 in Gudauri. The other ski resorts gradually closed from mid-April due to weather conditions.

“All four resorts (Gudauri, Bakuriani, Goderdzi, Mestia) had 134,183 visitors during the 2021 ski season. Totally 83,055 people visited the Gudauri ski area, 35,166 Bakuriani, 7,262 Goderdzi and 8,700 Mestia zone,” the information by Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reads.
