Georgian, Serbian Presidents meet

President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili met with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

According to the press service of the President of Georgia, during a face-to-face meeting at the Palace of Serbia, Mikheil Kavelashvili and Aleksandar Vučić discussed ways to deepen cooperation between Georgia and Serbia in the political, economic, technological, and cultural spheres. They also highlighted the existing friendly ties, cultural closeness, shared values, and common challenges, which provide a solid foundation for further development of bilateral relations.

“The meeting addressed ongoing political processes in Georgia and Serbia, as well as the importance of peace and stability globally. President Kavelashvili emphasized that Serbia’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is highly valuable. He also extended an invitation to his Serbian counterpart to visit Georgia,” the press service of the President of Georgia stated.

President Kavelashvili is on an official visit to Serbia with a delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Boტchorishvili, Members of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili, and Guram Macharashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to Serbia Levan Beridze, and representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
