Georgian rugby team beats Wales
Georgian national rugby team “Borjghalosnebi” defeated Wales in a match held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff with the score of 13:12.
“Borjghalosnebi” made a confident start and were first to score courtesy of Tedo Abzhandadze’s penalty kick. Wales hit back with Jac Morgan scoring two quick tries to give the hosts a 12-3 half-time lead.
After the break, Georgians were again first to score when Sandro Todua collected a crossfield kick and touched down. A penalty in the last minutes was then kicked by replacement Luka Matkava to secure an unlikely but deserved victory for Georgia.
