Georgian rescuers were rotated from the Turkish city of Adiyaman, Georgian Ambassador to Turkiye, Giorgi Janjgava, reported.
Georgian rescuers will continue their rescue efforts in Hatay province.
“A 112-member Georgian group is currently on their way to Hatay Province to continue the search and rescue operation. We wish them success and a safe return,” the Ambassador wrote on the social network.
The magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit the southeastern Turkish region on 6 February, leaving thousands dead and injured.
