Georgian President urges political actors to avoid actions that could hinder ongoing process
Georgian President Salome Zourabicvili calls on political actors to avoid the actions that could hinder the ongoing process.
“I urge everyone to abstain from using inappropriate rhetoric, provoking unnecessary actions, or artificial rush, avoid all the actions that could hinder or damage the ongoing process.
The mission of a personal Envoy of European Council President Charles Michel, meaning the European Union (EU)’s direct involvement, underscores the importance of Georgia for the EU. Mr. Christian Danielsson stressed this very importance.
Amid this situation, I would like to once again urge all political forces and authorities to fully acknowledge and use this opportunity,” the President stated.
.@DanielssonEU’s arrival to Tbilisi shows us that the EU will continue to work for the #democraticdevelopment of Georgia. A very productive meeting with the Special Envoy. Once again, each side must put country first and fight for depolarization and stability. pic.twitter.com/nVrc08Qjk0
