Georgian President says Russia's forceful annexation of Ukrainian regions has no legitimacy

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Friday echoed Russian President’s move to annex four Ukrainian regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.

In her tweet, the President said: “Formalizing sham referendum to support a blatant violation of international law and forceful annexation has no legitimacy, no future.”

Zourabichvili stressed, “we reject such gross violations of international law and reiterate our full support to Ukraine’s territorial integrity.”
