Georgian President offers condolences to families of five Georgian fighters killed in Ukraine

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili offered her condolences to the families, friends, and relatives “of all the Georgian fighters who have died in Ukraine.”

On 3 December, five more Georgian fighters were killed in combat action near the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, the Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine, Giorgi Zakarashvili, confirmed the information.

More than 30 Georgian volunteers have been killed in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion in February.
