Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili met President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, at the Presidential Palace.

According to the Presidential Administration, President Kavelashvili stated that he welcomed the OSCE PA President’s visit to Georgia since it represented “an excellent opportunity for holding discussion over acute issues and deepening future cooperation.”

Ongoing political processes were reviewed during the meeting. President Mikheil Kavelashvili emphasized that since 2012, Georgia has been and remains a strong supporter of democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law.

He remarked that Georgia consistently acts as a constructive and responsible participating state, committed to strengthening multilateral cooperation and dialogue.
