Today, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili is set to embark on an official visit to Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Presidential Administration of Georgia, the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Khachaturian, will welcome the President at Zvartnots International Airport.
During his visit, President Kavelashvili will be hosted at the Presidential Palace by Armenia’s President, Vahagn Khachaturian. The two leaders will engage in bilateral discussions, both in private and in an expanded format. Following their meetings, the presidents will address the media with joint statements.
In addition to his discussions with President Khachaturian, Mikheil Kavelashvili will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Catholicos of All Armenians, Garegin II.
The Georgian delegation includes Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Giorgi Volski, and members of Parliament Samvel Manukian and Sumbat Kyureghiani, along with Presidential Advisor on Foreign Relations Luka Ekhvaia.
