Georgian President departs for Slovakia on official visit

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili, along with a delegation, departed for Bratislava, Slovakia, on an official visit.

According to the Presidential Administration, the official welcoming ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace of Slovakia. President Peter Pellegrini will host Mikheil Kavelashvili. The two presidents will hold face-to-face and extended meetings, and will issue joint statements for the media.

Mikheil Kavelashvili is scheduled to meet Vice-President Denisa Saková and Speaker of the National Council, Richard Raši.

The Georgian delegation comprises Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikoloz Samkharadze, Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgi Zurabashvili, Georgian Ambassador to Slovakia Konstantine Kvachakidze and representatives of the Georgian Presidential Administration.

President Kavelashvili’s official visit to Slovakia will be completed on April 3.
