Georgian President deems femicide as major concern

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili believes femicide is one of today’s most pressing concerns.

According to President, a far harsher law is required.

“This is undoubtedly one of the most major social problems we are now facing, and we need to address it not only with statements and words but through legislation. It is necessary to enact new, far stricter legislation to put prevention in place,” Zourabichvili told GPB First Channel.
